Flynn publicly said Trump could deploy the military to battleground states and rerun the election, invoking disputed historical precedent. The next day he joined the Oval Office confrontation over seizing voting machines and other proposals. No martial-law order or military-run election occurred. The institutional concern is the proposed use of armed state power to displace certified civilian election processes.
