Meadows traveled to Cobb County during an absentee-ballot signature audit, spoke with Deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs and chief investigator Frances Watson, and later connected Watson with Trump. On the recorded call, Trump claimed he had won and told Watson she would be praised when the 'right answer' came out. The intervention placed White House power directly against state election administration.
