After repeated efforts to connect Trump with Brad Raffensperger, Meadows joined the recorded January 2 call. Trump demanded that Georgia 'find 11,780 votes' and suggested criminal exposure while Raffensperger and counsel corrected his claims. The committee identified the demand as an outright request for victory; the later Georgia prosecution ended without a merits verdict.
